Common summer visitor to scrub.

Identification

Males have greyish-brown upperparts with rusty-brown edges to wing coverts and tertials, and pale underparts with pinkish tinge to breast; ash-grey head and white throat. Females are duller, with brownish head and back, pale-buff underparts and off-white throat. Yellow-brown legs.

Movements

Peaks in 2nd hf. April and 2nd hf. September.
