- El Estrecho Digital, with the contact details published at elestrechodigital.com. You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection by writing to that address, and lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
- What data is processed
- Browsing Bioestrecho requires no account. Like any web server, ours logs the IP address, the page requested, the date and the browser, to keep the service secure and measure its use in aggregate; these logs are kept for 30 days. No third-party analytics are used and readers are not profiled.
- What is stored in your browser
- "My list" and field mode are stored only in your browser (local storage), with no account or server. Bioestrecho does not receive that information; clearing the site data in your browser deletes it.
- External services
- The wind forecast is requested from our server to Open-Meteo; your browser does not connect to that service. Photographs and cartography are served from this domain. Links to GBIF, iNaturalist, Wikimedia Commons and others lead to sites with their own policies.
- Sightings and accounts
- When the sightings service opens, access will be by a code sent to your email, with no password. Your email, the observations you contribute and their position will then be processed on the basis of consent, in order to publish the observations under the licence you choose. This policy will be updated before that service opens.
- Legal basis and retention
- Technical logs are processed on the basis of legitimate interest in the security of the service (art. 6.1.f GDPR). Data is not shared with third parties except where required by law. Servers are hosted in the European Union.
