Accidental. One ringed female at Ceuta on 24.04.87.

Identification

Small, brownish and heavily streaked, whitish rump and white, streaked undertail-coverts. Males have a red forecrown and breast. Females and juveniles only have red foreheads. They breed in the N of Europe.

Ring recoveries

One bird ringed in Germany on 10.12.72 controlled at Cadiz on 1.12.78, 2,416 Km. away. Passeridae Fringillidae Pardillo Común ad.E Pardillo Sizerín
