Occasional wintering scarce in la Janda.
Identification
The smaller, pale and slender of all the harriers. Feature fine black wedge the ends (top and bottom) of their wings long, narrow and pointed. Tail also longer and more slender than the rest of the harriers. Contrasts the head and the rest of the lower parts mostly white and the rest of the above pale gray ash. It lacks black wing fringe. The females are very similar to Montagu’s Harrier but more robust. The wings are style Northern Harrier with secondaries darker side underneath. The design of the face in young people is diagnosed.
