Accidental. Two records of ringed birds at Ceuta: one male bird on 31.03.91 and one female bird on 21.04.91.
Identification
The size of a Siskin. Males have a grey-green back and underparts; grey nape, neck and flanks. In flight, two yellowish-green wing-bars, dull yellowish-green rump and a dark tail. Females are similar to males but duller with a streaked back. Juveniles are brownish above with dark streaking and have rusty-buff wing-bars. They breed on the mountains of the Centre and N of the Iberian Peninsula.
